Clinoptilolite

High quality natural zeolite (clinoptilolite) for the water filtration. It exchange ammonia and heavy metal ions and can be regenerated. An interesting side effect is the reduction of iron, which is very often also a problem in water treatment.Typical Properties:- Relative percentage of Clinoptilolite crystalline: 65 to 85% by volume- Mordenite: 20 to 25 % by volume- Analcime, Smectite and montmorilonit: up to 10% by volumeCEC and cations exchangeability characteristics:- CEC: 90 to 160 meq/g- Major Exchangeable Cations:Rb, Li, K, NH4, Cs, Na, Ag, Cd, Pb, Ca, Zn, Ba, Sr, Cu, Hg, Fe, Co, Al ,Cr, Mg(selectivity of above cations is a function, of hydrated molecular size and relative concentrations)- Primary absorbing gases:CO, C02, SO2, C2H6, C2H2, CH3OH, CH3NH2, CH3C1, H3BrH2S, HG3, N- Gas absorption: 30% of dried weight- water absorption: 70% of dreid weight
